The famous Devils Glen is located 4km west of Ashford on the Glendalough road, you can take several pleasant walks in the glen and visit the beautiful waterfall called 'The Devils Punchbowl'

Fishing is well catered for in the area around Ashford, Killoughter is reputed to be an exceptionally fine spot for shore angling.

If art is your forte then 'Sculpture in Woodland' is the home for unique collections of wooden sculptures by Irish and International artists.It is located in Ashford and well worth a visit.
